      Arthur Mellows Village College is seeking to appoint a Senior Librarian. You will be responsible for managing the library spaces, supervising students, purchasing and cataloguing books, promoting reading through innovative displays and events making the library a welcoming and productive place for learning. You will work as part of a small team and line manage the Assistant Librarian. The successful candidate will have an interest in reading material and will be required to promote reading for pleasure across the curriculum. The Senior Librarian will supervise study and assist staff and students seeking information and encourage positive study habits, including supporting student reading where appropriate.

      Arthur Mellows is situated on the outskirts of Peterborough. Staff are friendly and supportive. Behaviour is excellent and students are keen to learn.
