      Personal Assistant to Principal

      Salary: £29,384

      We are seeking to appoint a Personal Assistant to work with the Principal as part of the Senior Leadership and administrative team. The Personal Assistant will provide secretarial and administrative support to help the MAT attain its aims and objectives. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage schedules, communications, and confidential matters.

      The successful candidate will be an experienced administrator with a proven track record in a PA role to a senior manager, either in an educational or business environment.   We are looking for a flexible, proactive and positive individual who understands the importance of teamwork, effective systems and processes with a determination to ‘get things done’.  Excellent communication skills are an absolute must.

      This role is varied and busy, the ability to prioritise and multi-task is essential. Attention to detail is paramount. Strong personal qualities such as confidence, integrity and presence are sought in addition to good ICT skills.

      Main Responsibilities:

      • Provide timely and effective administrative support to the Principal and Senior Leadership Team, ensuring efficient office operations.
      • Manage calendars for the Principal and Senior Leaders, coordinating appointments, meetings, and events.
      • Act as the first point of contact, ensuring that visitors, parents, and carers receive a warm and professional welcome
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents, governors, and external stakeholders to support the school’s objectives.
      • Handle confidential information with discretion, adhering to Academy policies.
      • Organise and prioritise daily tasks using initiative and working knowledge.
      • Prepare routine correspondence, reports, and documentation with accuracy.
      • Undertake any other relevant duties to support the smooth running of the school.
      • Support with the oversight and organisation of projects and developments.           

      Grade 9 - Point 24

      Actual Salary £29,384

      37 hrs per week

      195 days (Term time plus 5)

      Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:00 - Friday 08:00 - 15:30
