Actual Salary: £21,687 including a £2,000 annual R&R
HOURS: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 8.30am-3.45pm
Wednesday 8.30am – 4.15pm
Friday – 8.30am – 2.15pm
30 mins lunch unpaid (Monday to Thursday)
Term time plus 5 days
33 hrs, 15 mins per week

The Manor Drive Secondary Academy is a brand new, over subscribed school in the north of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. The school is very much the centre of the local community and is situated amongst a thriving new housing estate. We welcomed the first cohort of 120 Year 7 students in September 2022. We are seeking to appoint a Lead Science Technician to join our highly successful team where students are paramount. The post includes organising and supervising other Science Technicians, co-ordinating and preparing resources for teachers within the Science department. The role is busy and varied. The successful candidate will need to be an organised and self motivated individual who has pride in their work and enjoys providing an excellent service. A good Science knowledge is essential.
Strong personal qualities such as confidence, integrity and presence are sought in addition to good ICT skills. Consistent and effect communication are required together with the ability to use your own initiative.
