  • Trust hosts Headteacher Conference

On 9 June 2026, the Four Cs MAT held our bi-annual Headteachers' Conference.

The conference was a fantastic day, centred around culture, belonging and what this means for the children, staff and communities we serve.

We considered the implications of the Curriculum and Assessment Review and the Every Child Achieving and Thriving White Paper, alongside discussions inspired by Steve Munby's Imperfect Leadership and the work of Simon Sinek, Gary Ridge and Daniel Coyle.

We were delighted to welcome Jon Hutchinson in the afternoon for a thought-provoking session on belonging. Jon challenged us to think about how schools can ensure every child feels valued, connected and part of their community. It was also recognised that belonging begins with staff; when colleagues feel supported, valued and connected, they are better placed to create the conditions in which every child can thrive.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to such an engaging and purposeful day.
