Four Cs MAT ‘Play in a Day’
On Friday 7 June 2024 Fulbridge Academy hosted a ‘Play in a Day’ performance showcase. This was an opportunity for students in Years 5, 6, 7 and 8 from all schools within the Trust, who have shown key interest and skills in performing arts, to come together to rehearse and learn a short play.
The students created a 10-minute adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, which they performed for their parents/carers and school staff at the end of the day. Each student participated and had lines to learn. The students interacted well together across all schools and left having made friends. It was a great opportunity for students to work with other peers and staff and the event was extremely well received and enjoyed by all who participated.
